Primarily a Theatre for Young Audiences practitioner, Nishna has worked as a performer, director, light designer and operator, workshop facilitator, communications manager and administrator for various theatre companies in India. She has designed and facilitated theatre and drama workshops for children and young people, parents and educators from different backgrounds and abilities in India, Singapore, Ireland and England revolving around skills ranging from creativity, communication and social-emotional learning.

 

“Make it happen” is her mantra of doing theatre. She wishes to share the magic and joy of theatre with children across age groups and backgrounds throughout the world. The same joy that inspired her to be a maker as she grew older. 

 

Her love for theatre and interest in wildlife and the outdoors motivated her to start the Nature Narratives, currently on a digital platform to spread awareness about wildlife and conservation through children’s literature and aims at creating experimental shows on it in the future.
